You can 'talk' with your family and friends about your problems and perhaps get some great advice and support. However sometimes what you need is to talk with someone who can help you to understand you feelings, emotions and behaviours without emotional attachment. Our relationship is a very special one, and it is primarily the nature of the therapeutic relationship that enables you to make changes and think about things in a different way. In out sessions, you will be encouraged and supported to challenge your current unhelpful beliefs and ways of thinking, in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will be able to try out new ways of thinking and behaving in a place that allows you the space to do so safely without judgement. I am equipped with the knowledge and experience to support you to deal with and work through issues from your past and present. I will support you to look forward to your future, making your own decisions and feeling confident in yourself. Our sessions are directed by you and your needs and so my therapeutic approach can and will vary throughout our sessions according to your needs. I believe that a combination of counselling, psychotherapy and hypnosis can be used to aid your therapy and allow you the time and space to feel focused on yourself and your healing, whilst in a relaxed, safe environment.
